Halcyon Hours unique Lavender Lady pomander kit

Create your own miniature work of art

The Lavender Lady pomander kit was developed to allow embroiderers and lacemakers great scope to create a truly individual, miniature work of art.

The porcelain pieces are original and made by Helen Dickins.

Within Australia, the silk organza bag is filled with lavender buds.

When sold overseas, local Customs or Quarantine regulations may prohibit foreign flora. In this case, I would send the bags empty, to be filled with local lavender or a favourite pot pourri.

From time to time, a few drops of lavender oil refreshes the pomander.

The kit consists of: a wigged doll head with silk organza lavender bag attached (ask about the wig colours available) porcelain hands on a pipecleaner fine Swiss batiste to fashion the dress and sleeves a length of matching silk ribbon a length of 4cm wide cotton lace a book with clear instructions for finishing the doll a presentation box with lid for the finished pomander
