Wildfire, carved wooden Edwardian glider horse in 1/12 scale
'Born' to ride - this tiny, fully functioning glider horse was perfected initially so that miniature dolls could have a horse to ride.

"In recent years, I have been drawn more and more to the challenge of creating miniature working models.
My 2008 Winter Wonderland collection included glider horses, bow horses and my latest creation, tricycle horses.
These delightful miniatures were achieved through a combination of artistic and technical skills, with valuable contributions from two talented engineers.

Merlin, original tricycle horse design by Helen Dickins, cast in resin and made from Helen's master horse mould of carved wood.
The tricycle horses you see today were achieved with the help of a great husband who turned the metal wheel sections, and a mutual friend, Ern Day, designed and made the spoke-gluing jig.
Meet Helen's tricycle horse, Merlin.
